 Hello everyone, thank you for viewing my blog. I have two interventions one is a boy named Tyler and a girl named Amy. I am asking for help in deciding the best researched-based assessment for my students in these two scenarios. These scenarios are not giving away what the assessment I chose to use nor what my colleagues suggested I use. This will inform various assessments to create meaningful lesson plans and curriculum for our students and their future. The more assessments available, parents and stakeholders can review data and make choices in the best interest of the child. The tasks can be completed authentic, and young children will be successful.  This information provided gives a purposeful assessment as defined by Ebbeck, Teo, Tan, & Goh. (2014).

Tyler is a 6-year-old boy in the second grade. Tyler lives with both parents and his older brother; he is 8 years old. Tyler had been diagnosed with Autism, and he receives special services from Southwest Health Services. Tyler currently has an (IEP) with accommodations. Tyler's parents are very hard workers, and they spend a great deal of time working with Tyler. However, Tyler devotes much time just completing one /assignment and taking a test. Tyler has shown some signs of anxiousness and gets very upset, just sitting for an extended period. Tyler only completes one task and is unable to write legibly. Although it is very challenging to assess young children learning with disabilities, it is imperative to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and understanding (Watson,2019). Tyler enjoys any assignment that allows him to make things he gets very excited about. Tyler likes learning new things, and he is always eager to answer questions when the teacher asks him when reviewing the content of assignments. Tyler works so hard trying to do his best; what assessment will best for Tyles? However, he has problems writing out his assignments.

Teachers can use this information for informal instruction, reflect on young children learning, and set goals for them. Amy is a four-year-old Hispanic female girl, her family, who move to the U.S. of America. Amy, live with both parents; her mother only speaks minimal English. Amy, the father, speaks bilingually. Amy's mother does not speak English. Amy's mother is expecting to have a little boy in just a few days. Amy's father work for pizza hut. Amy enters the four the old classroom, however since she has been and the four old classrooms, she has been involved in several incidents where she is was bitten by other young children in her classroom and hitting her teacher. The teacher wants to support Amy in understanding why these behaviors are occurring and what approach could be taken to eliminate such behaviors. An assessment would allow the teacher to gather data to support Amy. (Ebbeck, Teo. Tan, &Goh,2014). The purpose of an evaluation is to determine what instructional needs for Amy? (Banerjee&Lucker,2013). What type of assessment would be the most beneficial and development appropriate for teachers to help Amy?
